What to watch, and what would make this wrong.
What to watch nextWatch the volume-to-depth ratio rather than either figure on its own. If reported volume keeps rising while quoted depth within 2% does not, more volume is being compared with less nearby depth. Watch the excluded-pair share too: it reached 93% at the worst venue here, and a rising share means more listed pairs are being left out of this comparison.
What would make this wrongThis reading would be wrong if the quoted book is not the real book. Exchanges show only part of resting interest, market makers hold size back, and a venue can have far more available than it displays. It would also be wrong if the flagged pairs dropped here are genuine markets. And none of it speaks to solvency: an exchange with a thin public book can be perfectly sound, and a deep book proves nothing about what is owed to customers.
